This Bacon Cheeseburger Dip is a perfect appetizer for any get together or party! It is made in the crock pot, so it is easy to put together ahead of time. Which is great, because we all have plenty to do to get ready for any get together. Whether you are hosting, or traveling someplace else. Since it is made in the crock pot, it travels well, since you just take the crock pot with you and plug it back in when you arrive. It stays hot and ready to serve any time!
We like things spicy, but if you are not a big fan of heat, you can adjust the jalapeños and/or the cayenne pepper. Even though to us, this dip doesn’t pack too much heat. We like this served with with corn chip scoops (like Fritos scoops) because you can scoop up a bunch of this thick, hearty dip, but you can use any type of chips or even veggies like bell pepper strips or celery would be good too.
Be sure to cook ground beef before adding it to the Crock Pot. You can cook the bacon yourself and crumble after cooling, or just use a package of precooked bacon cut up.
We love snacks and dips, so we have even made this a few times at home for dinner! It’s a fun twist on cheeseburgers.
