Modifying Whipped Cream
My simple whipped cream recipe is made with only fresh cream, sugar and vanilla extract. In order to modify the recipe, you can switch the flavor of extract you are using. For example, using an almond extract would be a nice compliment to a cherry pie. Or, to serve this fresh whipped cream with apple pie, you could use caramel extract, or even add a dash or two of cinnamon to the original recipe. The flavor possibilities are really endless!
You can easily halve or quarter this recipe for a smaller or individual serving. This whipped cream recipe will hold up well in the fridge for a couple of days too. It comes together really fast, so it’s simple to make it fresh whenever you need it. Give this easy whipped cream recipe a try for your holiday baking! It will really elevate your baked goods.
