Method
- Preheat oven to 425
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper or foil (for easier clean up)
- Set wire rack in baking sheet - keeps hot dogs raised up out of the grease drippings while cooking
- Wrap each hot dog with one slice of bacon starting one end and wrapping in a spiral down to the other end, securing each end with a half of a toothpick to keep bacon in place
- Set bacon wrapped hot dogs on wire rack in baking sheet
- Bake in oven at 425 for 30 min flipping hot dogs after 15 min
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on how crispy you like your bacon
- Any type of bacon can be used, but thick sliced bacon will take longer to cook
- Any type of hot dog or sausage you like can be used
