One Pot Swedish Meatballs

Equipment

  • 1 5 qt Dutch Oven or large pot
  • 1 Measuring Spoons
  • 1 Measuring Cups
  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Diced Onion about 1/2 a small onion
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 32 oz Chicken Broth 1 carton
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 cups Egg Noodles 1/2 of a 16 oz bag

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce and egg. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape into 12 meatballs (about 2 inch)
  • Over medium high heat, melt butter in your Dutch oven or large pot. Add meatballs and cook for 8 to 11 mins. Gently turning occasionally so that all sides brown.
  • Add broth, heavy whipping cream, salt and pepper. Stir in noodles and return to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, and simmer for about 15 to 18 minutes, stirring occasionally until meatballs are cooked through (165 degrees) pasta is tender and sauce begins to thicken.
  • Remove from heat and stir in parsley
  • Serve

Notes

  • Be sure to stir regularly once noodles have been added so they don't stick to the pot.
